Kids Ministries
A Place For Your Little Ones
KIDS CHURCH
Meets at 11 am on Sunday mornings.
Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at All Nations Baptist Church! Every facet of our Children’s Ministry seeks to teach kids the different elements of the Christian life – and it doesn’t have to be BORING! Church should be a place where children can learn the Bible and have fun at the same time! We are constantly seeking to add more opportunities, Biblical material, and programs to assist our parents in rearing their children
“in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4).
Every Sunday morning at 11am your child will be able to participate in age-appropriate Bible classes which emphasize Bible lessons from the Old and New Testament that are applicable to your child’s life. These classes are divided into the following age groups:
- Nursery (2 and 3 year olds)
- Pre K & Kindergarten (4 and 5 year olds)
- Primaries (1st – 3rd grade)
- Juniors (4th – 6th grade)
Kids ages 5 -11 have the opportunity to participate in our ANBC Kids’ Church, where they experience church designed just for them with singing, giving, Bible lessons, crafts, and games! We also prepare our children to participate in Kids’ Choir, church plays and seasonal events. Our goal is to prepare our children to participate in worshipping, praying, and listening to the Scriptures in a church environment! Each month, our children get to join mom and dad for a regularly scheduled church worship service in our auditorium!
We also offer many other activities and events throughout the year like the Fall Festival, Camp Retreats, and Vacation Bible School. Our Children’s Ministry is designed to teach your child God’s Word and have fun in the process. We pray that you and your family would consider joining our ministry!
Joy Gibson
Children’s Director
Joy was born and reared in Mexico, where her parents and grandparents were missionaries. She grew up hearing the gospel at home, but when she was nine years old everything clicked for her and became personal. She clearly saw her need and was born again into the family of God. A few years later, after struggling with doubts about God and the Bible, she accepted the challenge to read through the Bible in a year. That year, she fell in love with Jesus and the Word of God and committed her life to serving the Lord full time. As a young teen, she began working in the church her parents were planting, teaching the Bible to younger children, working in Junior Church, writing puppet scripts, and using her creative skills to organize children’s programs. Joy graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in Commercial Art and Bible, and has spent her adult life looking for creative ways to communicate God’s Word and His love to both women and children. As Children’s Director at All Nations, Joy knows how important it was for her to embrace the gospel as a child, and it is her deep desire to see every child who comes to church “get it” too. As a mom of young adults, she also has a desire to help parents start early and be their own kids’ number one Bible teacher at home. Joy is bilingual and works with both English and Spanish speaking families.
